Many uses including fermenting with a Kraut Kap airlock. The Ball Mason wide mouth plastic storage lids, kraut kap fermenting airlocks, pickle pipes and wide mouth viscodiscs are compatible with both brands. The small weck weights as well as the Crock Rock fermenting weights will fit into both types of jars. We recommend the heavier Crock Rock weights for the large size jars.
