Here are some things we love about the Ratio Six: 1️⃣It's convenient. The Ratio Six features a simple single-button design. Just fill the reservoir with water, add your filter and coffee grounds, and press the brew button. Brewing takes around 5-7 minutes depending upon whether you're brewing a half or full pot of coffee. 2️⃣It produces better coffee extraction. The Ratio Six features a shower head design that evenly distributes water, fully saturating the coffee grounds and resulting in better extraction. A big part of our gripe with traditional drip brewers is they just dump hot water unevenly on your coffee grounds. This might not sound like a big deal, but it doesn't allow for even coffee extraction since water isn't saturating all the coffee grounds. Traditional brewers also don't retain heat very well, and the Ratio Six is rated to maintain a brewing temperature of 195 to 205 degrees. 3️⃣The integrated bloom phase. During the bloom phase a small amount of water is poured over the coffee grounds to allow for the release of carbon dioxide. This allowed us to pickup on some of the sweeter notes in our coffee compared to ordinary drip coffee pots. 4️⃣It looks great!
