This listing is for a set of three bowls, they were hand thrown and trimmed on my potter's wheel using a rich specked stoneware clay. They were then bisque fired and glazed with transparent white glaze that has a blush blue hue that allows the dark speckles of the natural stoneware to come through. They were then fired to cone 6 in my electric kiln. These speckled prep bowls are really unique, they have a rustic look and feel, they are very handy and have many uses! perfect for herbs, dips. etc. Approximate size: 1.5" high and 3.5-4" across the top (each bowl varies slightly in shape and size). Shipping is $15 USPS Priority Mail. For months I searched the internet to find a clay that has this depth of speckling in it. This particular clay comes from Canada, and while it is more costly than the local clays I use, I believe it's worth it to be able to make special pieces like this. Food Safe, Dishwasher Safe.
