In the 1930s, Alfonso Bialetti designed and produced the first moka coffee brewer, which became an icon of Italian coffee brewing culture. Alessandro Mendini was given the responsible task of creating a new Alessi Moka brewer, referring to this iconic design and reinterpreting the work of his brilliant predecessor with the advances of modern technology.
